SALVATION

The two-fundamental meaning for salvation are:

  1. To be rescued from a lost state.

  2. To be brought into a saved state.

A person needs to know they can be saved, but first they need to recognize their lost condition. “Yes, all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious ideal;” (Romans 3:23) TLB

All are in need of a Savior because of sin and the penalty of sin.

Salvation is by faith alone:

“Because of his kindness, you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves; it too is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good we have done, so none of us can take any credit for it.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) TLB

Simply say (outloud) the Salvation Prayer, turn from sins and get into the word of God to find out how God wants you to live and to guide you and remember that it is a process,
